A word from Pastor Bob

With the celebration of our 20th Anniversary behind us, I look back and still marvel at the work that God has done in the lives of the people He has touched through the ministries here at Calvary Chapel.

Back in October, 2005, I shared with you the lack of space we have been experiencing as God has continued to increase the number of people attending here. He has called us to do His work and make disciples, and we want to be able to meet that calling and see Him change lives. That is what we are doing through the vision of Until the Whole World Hears. 

Part of His provision is your participation. There is no limit to what God will do in and through us if we commit ourselves to sacrificial giving. God desires to use all of us in this glorious assignment - He's looking for equal sacrifice, not equal gifts.

You know, people say to me all the time, "Why has Calvary Chapel attracted so many people?" My answer to them has always been, "I don't know." But here's what I'm convinced of: If I could explain it, then it would all be about us or about me. But because I can't explain it, I believe it's all about Him, and the glory goes to Him. Let's give Him the glory. Let's go and make disciples.
